So what defines quality on a driving lesson
& what should you look out for?

Unless you have someone recommend a motoring school it can prove to be a lengthy process finding a suitable low cost lesson. Some points you can look out for after making your choice are:

Does your instructor arrive at the arranged time
Sometimes your lesson never takes place - even though it's pre-booked
Are your lesson times changed often
Are you encouraged to progress on each lesson
Are you informed after each lesson the topics you need to practise more on
Are other students in the car when you drive - which means you have less practise time

If you answered yes to any of the above questions then you are having a poor quality lesson which may not be so cheap after all. I know of driving schools in Selly Oak who are not cheap on price, but are on quality, so it works both ways. Probably best if you look out for value for money driver tuition in Selly Oak rather than the cheapest. There is really no way you will know until you start your first lesson, whether in fact it will be value for money or not.

The special offers on the first lesson made by some companies can be used to gauge the quality of a lesson, but even this is not a true picture of future driving lessons that you might receive.
